A muddy, rutted driveway is one of those things that seems minor until you're dealing with it every single day. Puddles after rain, soft spots that swallow tires, dust clouds in dry weather. It gets old fast. A properly installed gravel driveway fixes all of that - and it holds up a lot longer than most people expect.

Here's what we were working with on this one - a rural property with a long drive running through a tree line leading up to the house and outbuildings. The goal was straightforward: lay fresh gravel from the road all the way to the parking area, grade it right, and leave it with a clean, even finish that drains well and doesn't shift around after the first hard rain.

We used a CAT skid steer to spread and grade the gravel evenly across the full width of the drive. That matters more than people realize. If gravel isn't graded properly, it migrates to the edges, leaves thin spots in the middle, and you're back to the same problems within a season. Getting the crown and the slope right from the start is what makes a gravel driveway actually last.

The finished result speaks for itself - a smooth, consistent gravel surface from the tree-lined entrance all the way to the house. No ruts, no bare patches, no mess. Just a clean, functional driveway that improves drainage and makes every trip in and out of the property a lot easier.

Whether you need a brand new driveway installed or an existing one refreshed with a fresh load of gravel and regrading, we handle it the right way. Good drainage, even coverage, and a finish that holds up through whatever weather comes next.
